Oleander Acres is only 67 miles from Brownsville TX and South Padre Island. Brownsville has a different micro-climate than Mission, TX. Brownsville is more humid than Mission, since it rains more in Brownsville. Mission is perfectly situated for a day-trip to S. Padre Island for fishing or swimming, but we think it has a more inviting winter climate.

We get a cool Gulf Coast breeze every evening that makes it perfect to walk around the park and meet your friends. Oleander Acres RV Park is pet-friendly, people friendly and large enough for you to choose a site with tropical vegetation and friendly neighbors or to be all by yourself. Our winter is like your spring. Daytime temperatures in the 70's and 80's are the norm, though the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas has a few cold snaps, for 2-3 days to make you feel at home.
